Judge: AIP Fashion Show Production Class
It has been my pleasure over the past year to be a Judge for Emil DeJohn's Fashion Show Production class at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. In the class, students craft a complete plan for a runway show, from invite to music to lookbook to swag bag. I'm always fascinated to see what the students come up with, and always flattered by the company I'm in: most recently I had the pleasure of judging with Sharon Phillips Waxman, producer of Phashion Fest and other high profile events for the past 25 years. And of course it's always a pleasure to spend time with the legendary Emil DeJohn. Find out more about his storied almost six decades in the world of fashion in this interview on Style Maniac that chronicles his journey from South Philly kid to designer for Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Bill Blass, Jones New York and more.
